Polly Ruhland, United Soybean Board CEO, explained to New Food the U.S. soybean industry’s concerted effort to become a more sustainable industry, and with that, make a significant portion of our food system much kinder to the planet.

Ruhland highlighted non-food uses, in which soy is a renewable alternative to petroleum in many products ranging from biofuels and tires to shoes and artificial turf.
