Max Armstrong got new insight on trade from last week’s USDA Ag Outlook Conference including the question why more hasn’t been done on new trade agreements. During the event Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack quizzed U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai about free trade agreements. Tai responded that agreements aren’t the only tool available for boosting trade. Max details this alternative approach.
